Easter Deviled Eggs

Although my husband and I didn’t have any plans for Easter (he was sick so that was that), I wanted to do a little something special. So after seeing several posts online, I decided to make dyed deviled eggs. It was extremely easy so super cute!

The concept is easy: Just follow the same recipe you normally would for deviled eggs but before putting the yolk mixture, dunk your half-eggs in glasses of food coloring and water. I did 4 colors: purple (well, sorta), red, blue and green. I put two halves in each glass for about 5 minutes. You can lift your eggs with a spoon to see if it is dark enough. When they are ready, take them out with a spoon and gently pat them dry with a paper towel. After that, you just fill them with the yolk mixture and voilà!

Happy Easter, Springtime or whatever else you like to celebrate at this time of the year! 🙂
