Happy Halloween!

I know the day is almost over but I still wanted to take a moment to wish you all a fantastic Halloween! I hope you all had a spook-tacular time! 😉
Here are a few highlights of my day…

Our kitty’s favorite thing about Halloween: the decorations to play with!

This actually happened a few days ago but it is Halloween-related after all…did you know that Cadbury make their gooey eggs even on Halloween now? Awww yeah…and I had to have one!! 🙂

As a self-proclaimed foodie, this might be a difficult thing to admit but I LOVE Kraft Diner mac ‘n cheese. When I found out they made pumpkin-shaped pasta for Halloween, I couldn’t resist. This was my lunch today.

At the end of the afternoon, I went to the UVA Lawn with some friends. They have a great trick-or-treat tradition there and I love to go every year to see all the cute costumes!

As soon as I came back from the Lawn, I turned on our porch light and waited for trick-or-treaters. It was so nice to take that post-it note off the candy! And thankfully for my sweet tooth, we didn’t get too many kids coming by so I’ll have plenty to eat this week! 🙂

I realized earlier today that I hadn’t carved a pumpkin for the first time ever this year. I was fairly bummed out about it. As I realized that I was running out of time, I decided to do the closest thing to pumpkin carving and, instead, made a stuffed squash for dinner! Haha! The recipe will definitely be in an upcoming post!
